Objectives of the Course To enable SIS systems and application development using SIS data.
Course Content Concepts of Spatial Information Systems (SIS), inputs of SIS applications, match of SIS, using popular SIS tools, problem specific SIS data structures, creating new geo spatial data types, analysis of vector based distance functions, design and implementation of geo spatial databases, well known SIS solutions.
