Hacettepe University Başkent OSB Technical Sciences Vocational School, Department of Machinery and Metal Technology Department - Machinery Programe; It was established in 2018 by the decision of Hacettepe University Senate on 03.01.2018 and 2018-2. Our program, which is opened as full-time 1st degree, gives associate degree education in 4 semesters for 2 years. Those who have successfully completed their education are awarded "Associate degree diploma" and "Technician" title.

The graduated students are the most employed technical stuff in modern manufacturing business area because of the importance of CNC benches and CAD-CAM programmes in this area. They can be employed as the lathe and milling operators, CNC operators, CAD-CAM operators, Quality and Control Specialist, Thermal Process Controller, Control and Automation Systems Controller and Technical Service Employer in Industry. Moreover, the graduated students can be an entrepreneur after gaining a certain experiences and special knowledge about the professionals.

The graduated students can be apply to the University Entrance Examination which is executed by OSYM and they can be completed their degree to bachelor of Science of Engineering such as, Industrial Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering, Marine Engineering Operations, Ship and Ocean Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Agricultural machinery and Technology Engineering or related teaching schools.
