About Programme
|
Hacettepe University Başkent OSB Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Electricity and Energy - Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology Program was opened in 2017.
The program is a 2-year associate degree program consisting of 4 semesters. Theoretical and applied courses are given in the program.
Elective courses constitute approximately 25% of the courses in the program.
Most of the compulsory and elective vocational courses are given in the workshop and computer environment.
In addition, certificate training support is received from various companies in the sector to which the program addresses, technical trips are organized and seminars are given.
The program includes 1 computer laboratory, 1 air conditioning and cooling workshop and 1 air conditioning and cooling laboratory.

History

Hacettepe University Başkent OSB Technical Sciences Vocational School, Department of Electricity and Energy - Climatization and Cooling Technology Program was opened in 2017. Formal training is provided in the program of Climate and Cooling Technology. Approximately 20 students are accepted to the program each year. The 2-year training in the Technology of Climate and Refrigeration Technology consists of 4 semesters. Theoretical and practical trainings are given about air conditioners, commercial and domestic refrigerators, cold storage, cold transport, industrial type cooling groups, air handling units, heating and ventilation systems. There are 3 teaching staff in the program of Climate and Cooling Technology.

Graduation Requirements
|
To successfully complete the program, all the courses available in the program (120 ECTS) to pass on a 4.00 weighted grade point average of at least 2.0, and 30 business days to get the internship must be completed successfully.

Assessment and Grading
|
Each student at the beginning and end of classes to register for the exam, ine courses and at least 70% of the applications should be continued for at least 80% ine.
