Pharmacy technicians are responsible for the following:To assist the pharmacist• in preparing, storing and dispensing the prescribed medications and, pharmaceutical and medicinal products,• in controling the prescriptions, patient drug information and treatments• in ordering, purchasing and billing the pharmaceutical and medicinal products• in the institutional affairs.The maintenance of the pharmacy and the equipment is among the duties of a pharmacy technician.Pharmacy technician training program offers the graduates the opportunities for employment in individual pharmacies, pharmacy units and private or public hospitals.
