History
Our School, which started education with the Dental Prosthesis (Dental Prosthesis Technology) and Anesthesia program in 1984, in 1985, Audiometry, Prosthesis - Orthotics (Orthopedic Prosthesis and Orthotics), Radiology (Medical Imaging Techniques), Medical Documentation and Secretarial, Medical Laboratory (Medical Laboratory Techniques) programs , Emergency Aid Technician (First and Emergency Aid) in 2004-2005 Academic Year, Radiotherapy in 2008-2009 Academic Year, Pharmacy Services in 2009-2010 Academic Year, Oral and Dental Health and Electroneurophysiology in 2013-2014 Academic Year , Operating Room Services in the 2014-2015 Academic Year and Disinfection, Sterilization and Antisepsis programs were added in the 2019-2020 Academic Year.

Admission Requirements
Students who have received sufficient points in the TYT score type as a result of the exam conducted by the Higher Education Council Assessment, Selection and Placement Center are accepted to the program. In addition, students are accepted through lateral transfer. These transitions are regulated by a directive and students can transfer between diploma programs of different higher education institutions or diploma programs within the same higher education institution, but within the framework of the previously announced quota and transition conditions.
Higher Grade Transition
Students who graduated from the Department of Medical Imaging Techniques can graduate from certain departments of the relevant faculties included in the guide published by OSYM, if they are successful in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by OSYM.
Graduation Requirements
Required conditions for the student to be accepted as a graduate and graduate:
a) To successfully complete all courses, practices and internships stipulated by the program to which they are registered, in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation.
b) To complete the total credit amount stipulated by the program (to complete 120 ECTS in total)
c) To provide at least 2.00 overall academic average
ç) Not to be dismissed from the University in accordance with the relevant regulation.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
Graduates; They can work in universities, state, private hospitals, imaging centers and practices. Example: In units of state and private hospitals such as conventional x-ray, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Vascular Angio, Nonvascular Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy departments; they can work in private hospitals, private imaging centers and practices.
Assessment and Grading
Success in a course is determined by the course grade. The course success grade is obtained by evaluating the success of the student during the semester (midterm exams, homework, practical studies, etc.) and the general exam together. The effect of the general exam on the course success grade can be at least 40% and at most 60%. A student who does not take the general exam is considered unsuccessful in that course. The raw scores obtained from the exams are converted into scores out of 100 and a general success grade is given by adapting the grading system in article 24 of HACETTEPE UNIVERSITY ASSOCIATE AND UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION-TEACHING REGULATIONS.
