About Programme

Pharmacy technicians are responsible for the following:



To assist the pharmacist



• in preparing, storing and dispensing the prescribed medications and, pharmaceutical and medicinal products,



• in controling the prescriptions, patient drug information and treatments



• in ordering, purchasing and billing the pharmaceutical and medicinal products



• in the institutional affairs.



The maintenance of the pharmacy and the equipment is among the duties of a pharmacy technician.



Pharmacy technician training program offers the graduates the opportunities for employment in individual pharmacies, pharmacy units and private or public hospitals.

According to Hacettepe University Associate Degree, Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulations, it is necessary to successfully complete all compulsory courses and internship required by the program in which the student is registered and to have an academic average of at least 2.00.
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
In pharmacy, allied health personnel who has associate's degree and trained to help authorized pharmacist in charge with the presentation of drugs and medicinal products to patient.
