About Programme

Hacettepe University Faculty of Law undergraduate program is similar to law faculties in Turkey in terms of compulsory courses. There is only a difference in the number and types of elective courses. In accordance with its purpose, the program also has a content that emphasizes basic social sciences such as philosophy, sociology and anthropology in order to prevent students from growing up as memorizers of laws and to ensure that they grow up as intellectuals who produce, think, wonder and question the law. In this context, compulsory courses were kept to a minimum, and elective courses consisting of a wide range and renewed in line with current developments were emphasized.

The language of instruction of the program is Turkish. In addition, optionally, our students will be able to learn various foreign legal languages ??and systems, as well as have detailed information about how these legal systems work, and English-American, French and German legal systems will be transferred to students in their own foreign language. With the student exchange programs, it will be possible to examine the legal systems in question.
