Department of Modern Dance Master`s programme; aims to provide training with modern methods and techniques on the line of contemprary dance institutions needs by closely following works in international arena. Besides bringing stage experience to the students by staging work which is a part of the training, connects created work with public. Staging studies aim to contribute to the accumulation of social culture, as well as students who are future modern dance choreographers to be - gain experience in the field of choreography.

Admission Requirements
In order to be accepted to this programme which consisted of 4 year undergraduate training, student must hold high school graduation degree.
Non graduates of conservatory high school are accepted to this programme by YGS and a special talent test, graduates of conservatory high school are accepted by a special talent test and not necessarily YGS exam.

Graduation Requirements
Hacettepe University, Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree Education and Examination Regulation Article Number 30 is applied for graduation.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
The Department of Modern Dance training programme which is prepared in 2000 but needs to be reviewed; has been reinforced with the theorical and choreography designing courses besides technique and artistic courses.
Graduates of the department contributes to community life as an artist of modern dance and have knowledge of the benefit from the digital facilities in the field of dance as a choreographer.
