History
|
Department of Statistics was founded in 1967 as the first undergraduate Statistics program in Turkey. Department of Statistics coordinates teaching and research in statistical science. The primary aim of program is to educate well qualified individuals on statistics as well as operations research, risk analysis, actuarial sciences, quality management, computer sciences and information system and to equip them to work in a wide variety of areas. Department also offers student Erasmus, double minor, Master and PhD programs. Department provides four year full time study and education language is Turkish. Students are required to earn total 240 ECTS credits. Department allows students the opportunity to take a wide variety of courses.

Admission Requirements

Graduation Requirements
|
Students need to earn at least 240 ECTS credits including compulsory and elective courses to get a Bachelor`s degree with an overall CGPA of 2.00 or higher.
