|
The basic mission of the Division of Chemistry Education is to educate students who are going to be chemistry teachers at secondary education.The education in the department takes four years (except of the preparatory class). The program has area courses, area teaching courses teaching profession courses and liberal education courses. Besides, the Division of Chemistry Education has M.A. and PhD. Programs.

Admission Requirements

1. High school diploma,2. Obtaining the required grade from National University Entrance and Placement (OSYM).

Graduation Requirements
|
Students should succeed and pass all the courses (total 240 ECTS) and obtain a minimum GPA (Grade Point Average) of 2.00 over 4.00.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
The graduates of this program employe as a "Chemistry Teacher" in the state and private secondary schools.

Assessment and Grading
Testing and evaluation methods implemented in the courses are defined in the “course instructional plan” which takes place in the information package. The relevant articles in the Examination Regulation of Hacettepe University Associate and Undergraduate Education are used for the exams and final grades.
