History
|
H.U. Health Services Operating Room Services Program started to accept students in the 2014-2015 academic year. It started education with a quota of 20 people and over time, the number of quotas increased to 75 people. Our department gives internship and applied training in Hacettepe Hospital Operating Room. Our students receive the profession of operating room surgical technician and graduate with the title of Health Technician. Our trainings, especially applied courses, progress in parallel with the developing technology. It graduates about 75 graduates each year.

Admission Requirements
|
Starting from the 2013-2014 academic year, the graduates of Health Vocational High Schools and general high schools will be able to choose and enroll in the existing programs in the Vocational School of Health.

Graduation Requirements
|
In order for students to graduate, they must have successfully completed a total of 120 ECTS credits in four semesters and achieved a general academic average of at least 2.00 according to the 4-point system.
|
Occupational Profiles of Graduates
|
Operating Room Technicians can work as an assistant to surgery in all surgeries performed in all hospitals in public institutions and private institutions in the health sector.

Assessment and Grading
|
The measurement and evaluation methods applied in the lessons are defined in the 'Course Teaching Plan' in the information package. Regarding the exams and success grades, H.U.
